- When leaders do mass layoffs, others tend to follow. We've seen this before.
I'm unsure if this is actually because of AI, or if AI is being used as a cover. Either way, I'm concerned.

- They already cut 27k jobs 2 years ago.
- Amazon isn't exactly an easy place to coast at. They're not just just cutting dead weight.
- Amazon already has a very high churn rate, average 1.5 years tenure for SDEs. Yet they still aggressively cut positions.

I'm not sure who this is for. It's annoying to devs, as you pointed out. And non-devs don't really understand much less care what version their browser is on. 😐
