When I was 14, I saw a problem and came across a neat solution and thought, “can’t be that hard.”

Was ridiculously laborious and so it turned out I was the first and only person to ever publish something like that open source. It is in wide use.

It taught me skills that directly aided my career.

when i was 14 i wrote a raytracer in a day just off intuition and wikipedia alone. it's not like i've gotten dumber. i know this sounds ridiculous, but i think it's literally just a confidence thing. i used to believe i was smart. i need my ego back

Decision made. Going with Mint.
Bazzite is a cool Steam OS-like, but pretty locked down under the hood. Plus for some reason the screensaver app I like isn't available?

With the Windows 10 EOL this week I am eventually going to make the switch to Linux, once and for all.

Can't decide if I want my daily driver to run Mint or Bazzite.
