The American people deserve a public health system that puts science before politics.

That's why California and 14 other governors are joining forces to launch the Governors Public Health Alliance to protect communities and guarantee decisions are rooted in data and health.

It will only affect it during the 12 month construction phase. After that the 'reservoir' will be underground with a control mechanism put in place with a small control box near Dovedale Road/Penny Lane. Well worth I think for minimising flooding problems under the Queens Drive Bridge.

Civil Liberties – a dividing line between Lib Dems and Labour

The optics of the arrest of the blind, elderly and those in wheel chairs in London yesterday were appalling. The words from Labour about arrests for peaceful protest were spine chilling.

Let's stick to facts. In any democracy, and particularly ours, we have always been free to peacefully protest against laws and restrictions that we do not like. It is a fundamental part of democracy.
