Climate Obstruction NL ontstond vanuit het besef: ondanks al het werk aan klimaatbeleid blijven machtige belangen klimaatactie tegenhouden. Toch was er in Nederland nauwelijks aandacht voor deze obstructie. Sinds 2024 brengen wij daar verandering in.

Het niet halen van onze klimaatdoelen kan leiden tot rechtszaken. En de dwangsommen die daaruit voortvloeien wil de overheid mogelijk betalen uit het Klimaatfonds – terwijl dat Klimaatfonds nou juist is bedoeld om de klimaatdoelen te halen.

Said it before, will probably die saying it, we are never going to solve the climate disinfo problem if we don't fix media. As @maxboykoff.bsky.social notes here, the public by and large learns about climate change via the media, so if the media trades in false equivalence, it's damaging!
