Hi I'm Matt. I'm a CG animator for my day job, here you can follow me to see occasional art and painted miniatures, I'm pretty quiet otherwise.

I think it's a unique appeal of the comic format, as media gets made by more people it can lose that individual filter of artistic direction and authorship, and take on more of a feeling of generic culture in the gaps. Stuff made by one person or a small team shows the most of the artists own soul.

When art is created from a personal place it will always provide a unique experience because whatever troupes or inspirations you have are being filtered through your individual artistic voice.
Something may be similar ingredients to what we've seen, but we cant get the you part from anywhere else🙌

I think it's highly demographic based, whether people tuning in are mostly casual fans who pay tips to support creators, or people wanting a subscription service. Stuff like dropout has a wide audience for a cheap subscription high volume model, but not sure if specific news sites can manage that.

RIP Shunsaku Tamiya, age 90, the chairman of legendary modelmaker Tamiya. He didn't found the company, but started working there in 1958, just four years after its founding, and helped it shift from its original line of wooden models into the plastic kits it is so well known for today.
