It's already here in this very safe Chicago suburb, definitely not the first place you'd expect. What I'd say is, don't doom, take a deep breath and get some rest before it comes to your area too. And do what you can to organize beforehand with your neighbors, too. Save your fear for when it's due.

1. In a major capitulation to Trump, Fenway Health, a center ostensibly dedicated to LGBTQ+ healthcare, has ended its trans care program under 19.

It could have fought for its patients. It chose instead to roll over.

The medication stockpile bill is the bill I had pegged this year as the most important kind of bill to pass given federal threats, with a short time window to make it happen. Washington passed the same bill earlier this year.

It's so shameful for Newsom to veto this bill.

1. Yesterday, the press gave Gavin Newsom favorable coverage for signing pro-LGBTQ+ bills.

Little noticed, however, was that he vetoed one of the most important ones: a bill allowing trans people 12 month HRT stockpiles, protecting them from federal threats.

I suppose the illustrations led me to believe that she went off to live her best life as a flapper- cloche hat, fur wrap, long narrow skirt.

My husband loved that novel and thought it was the end all be all.

I willingly burned all my own childhood and teenage writing when I was 19. It was an awful experience, all in all, but if someone else had burned them?!?
