Trump has renamed the U.S. Institute of Peace after himself.

Earlier in the year, we reported on how Trump sent a DOGE team to the institute, where they publicly outed a sensitive Afghanistan program and prompted a Taliban crackdown.

DOGE Targeted Him on Social Media. Then the Taliban Took His Family.
Afghan scholar Mohammad Halimi, who fled the Taliban in 2021, had worked to help U.S. diplomats understand his homeland. Then DOGE put his family’s lives at risk by exposing his sensitive work for a U...

It’s clear from the video this woman had just come to the park to play with her child. She said as much and was upset that there were masked men with guns in the park.

Border Patrol chief Greg Bovino calls the woman an “activist” and Andy Ngo says the woman was using her child as a “human shield.”

There is no legitimate reason not to release the complete Sep. 2 video.

They released video of the first strike. What national security justification could there be for releasing video of the first part of the action but not the second? They wanted to cover up what happened after the first strike.

Absurd!

"She was in the vicinity of someone who *was* pepper sprayed."

It's admission that their agents were using pepper spray promiscuously and without due regard for public safety.

They could have just NOT pepper sprayed and caused this Congressmember to be coated with toxins.

1/2 A lot of people say Hegseth “threw Bradley under the bus,” but command responsibility doesn’t require giving the explicit order. A commander is liable if they knew or should have known an unlawful act occurred and failed to prevent or address it.

This really is grotesque: they went through years-long citizenship processes and are now being denied simply because if the country they are from. It’s formalized bigotry.

Layoffs have hit over 1.1M so far this year — the most since the pandemic.

Yet corporate profits continue to hit record highs, with corporations increasingly spending those earnings on stock buybacks to enrich execs and shareholders.

This is what a rigged economy looks like.

What we are watching - as U.S. citizens are dragged out of cars and illegal war is waged in the Caribbean - is the corruption of the most sacred power we give the President - the power of violence.

We are no longer a democracy if the regime can use violence without restraint.
