Especially since to whatever degree Trump contributed to brokering deals allowing for the temporary ceasefire and release of hostages, he was most likely motivated by ego, hoping to gain international acclaim, win an award, and create rebuilding opportunities for himself and his friends and family.

I am heartened to see the return of the Israeli hostages held by Hamas and the images of them reuniting with their families. I am also glad to see innocent Palestinians return to their homes and start the difficult process of rebuilding their lives after two years of carnage.

No confirming of identity, no due process, no plausible reason (these boats are nowhere near the US coast, there's clearly no "Self-defense" justification), no talking to Congress about it, let alone the US public who is paying for these extrajudicial killings. Insane and WRONG, all of it.

How about the (actual) wave of violence being perpetrated by gun-wielding, untrained, power-happy yahoos cosplaying as federal "Agents" on innocent civilians in an increasing number of Democrat-led cities and states throughout the US? She and they should expect resistance to that dangerous lunacy.

It now appears the federal agents have left the intersection, after deploying more gas into the crowd. Still working to sort more details.

Feels almost trite at this point to bring up the federal court's restraining order, which included language meant to rein in agents' use of chemical weapons.

A confrontation between community members and militarized federal agents appears to be unfolding on Chicago's southeast side, near the intersection of E. 105th St and S. Ave. N.

Details still emerging. From what I've seen federal agents have deployed at least one can of some kind of gas.
