My personal "phone company" is nearing completion, and then I can start deploying services on top of it such as BBS!
I currently have more modems than POTS lines in this telco rack, but also plenty of T1 lines to make up for it too ;)
And some bridge equipment to wire it into my main network too

When I was a teen, I was on AOL Chatrooms (prior to AIM), and then later on IRC.
What did I do on IRC?
I was mentored by the developers of Winamp on programming and software architectural design. They're why I'm such a bad-ass at C++ programming.
Totally ruined my life!

When hiring in high tech positions, the number one, absolute most crucial skill to have and show... is the willingness to learn, explore, and grow.
It is expected that a lot of the technical skills FOR the job will be learned ON the job.
This is also why "onboarding" typically is SIX MONTHS!

I've got the @retrotink.com #RetroTINK 4K finally mounted up to the wall in my workshop!
This is the unit I use for testing when repairing consoles.
Been doing massive upgrades to my repair workstation, and this is the latest enhancement.
Just need those RCA keystones to arrive in the mail now.

The Minisforum MS-R1 arrived in the mail today!
Yup, it runs #FreeBSD :)
This is going to be my new ARM/Aarch64 compile/testing box for FreeBSD.
I've already got it running a KDE Desktop, albeit not that fast due to lack of GPU drivers so far.
Most everything else tested works great tho!

I have a HDD image from the 1980s full of files, split into multiple partitions, and I've been trying to reverse engineer it for HOURS.
Turns out Part-1 has incomplete file table, and no other part has a file table at all!?
But most partitions do indeed contain files ....
