Today was an eclectic one for Samuel Pepy. Attended an execution in the morning, put up shelves in the afternoon.

To my Lord's in the morning, where I met with Captain Cuttance, but my Lord's not being up I went out to Charing Cross to see Major General Harrison hanged drawn and quartered, which was done there, he looking as cheerful as any man could do in that condition... Within all afternoon setting up shelves in my study....

After a rough day Friday, I locked myself down for the w'end listening to Bob Odenkirk's Comedy Comedy Comedy Drama. Which reminds me that when I bought the Mr Show book off Ebay his wife Naomi was the seller and wrote me a message on the back of a photo. I had their return address on the label too!

That was so great. Surreal too. I did stand up on that same stage twice in my twenties. My God Trumps top trumps game was given out to everyone in the crowd at the first gig.
