More Black women are evicted every year than Black men are incarcerated. For profit prisons are one of the leading funders of lobbying against tenants' rights ordinances and for strict no-fault eviction laws. The reason is simple: eviction feeds the carceral state.

I’m not a great political analyst, but I do feel Labour have made a tactical error by opting to be cunts.

BBC Debate:
Shabana Mahmood: Illegal immigration is tearing the UK apart.

NO!
UK politicians are tearing us apart by pointing at refugees, to cover up the poverty they've caused!

Labour's 20-year waiting list for refugees is just performative cruelty.

Every time I have to deal with tourists in an airport, I have to constantly remind myself that they don't serve beer in prison.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Catherine Connolly and I think that she will be a great president.

But no-one will ever be as great as wee Miggeldy.

Our ayuntamiento (local council) have just refused permission for a property to be used as a casino because it is too close to a school.

It was previously a brothel.

What is the fucking point of Sir Keith's Labour Party.
Via the Lib Dems: The Liberal Democrats have "led the fight in Parliament" and defeated Farage’s Ten Minute Rule Bill on withdrawing the UK from the European Convention on Human Rights.

The Labour frontbench abstained from the vote, though backbenchers opposed the bill.
