Maybe the cancelation of Scalebound really was the point of no return for Xbox, culturally speaking. It really says something that even when having the top dog of action games and infinite money you can't still release shit. What makes you think you then can buy half the industry and sustain it?

Major evolution in the GZDoom community tonight - the regular contributors finally had enough of the project lead, who had been very hard to work with for a long time. He dug in and told them "If you don't like it, go and make your own fork."

I would've traded the online multiplayer with a couch coop campaign mode IN A HEARTBEAT. Weird it didn't happen since you always had companions in the story. 😭😭😭😭😭

TBF even 12 years ago I found AT MOST 1 lobby. A lot of times not even that. Not that I complained much since I love the campaign with all my heart.

Unless you were a certified BD sicko in a very specific window of time, chances are you didn't really experience BD's multiplayer.

I have played worse games, but a lot of those were honest and straightforward enough to signal the player that they weren't worth enduring very early on.

NMH3 on the other hand I endured because I was waiting for it for years and it was by someome I admire despite their washed out arc.

The best part were the first few hours when you still don't know that you've basically experienced most of the game. Then you play for 30 hours and except for a couple of moments, it constantly gets worse and worse.

Also very dellusional of Suda to trashtalk Nomura within this turd. Holy shit.

- No levels/proper stage design
- Atrocious open world slop
- Difficulty horribly balanced
- All interesting stylings of NMH removed or washed out
- Trash script
- Suda51 asleep at the wheel/not caring very much
- The best boss fights would be the weakest in NMH1 or 2

This one hurt so much.
