It raises way more than the fiddling around that's been done so far and is fair.
Most countries have reduced their top rates since the 70s. The comparison is with peers *now* and there, as this shows, we're unusual in that taxes on median earners are relatively low.
Well I agree with that, but I think you've swallowed some misinformation about people profiting off Brexit.
Everyone's poorer as a result of it. Some hedgies and traders may have made a one off gain from ccy trades on the day (inc Farage himself maybe) but not a widespread thing.
