seems like setting the project fps to 30 at least makes the kdenlive preview and the vlc render playback match up, converting the project to that did mess with all the clip placement so have to retime it

gundam wing amv prog. testing out how kdenlive handles rendering, when I play it in vlc the timing is off, but when I play the mp4 in kdenlive its fine, think its due to the clips being 23.98 fps throwing things off slightly, will see how bsky handles it

larian might largely use procedural generation for animations which seems fine, they say gen AI isn't used for concept art but to generate art as reference for concept art which sounds like BS, all use of it is shit. The fact former employees are complaining about their use of AI is telling

Early Access and the way they managed their community across all their updates helped humanize that team in ways that only helped Baldur’s Gate 3, weird for the studio to be so willing to throw all that goodwill away.
I think it's nice when concept art shows the evolution of people's creative processes instead of a prompt, but what do I know

glad they're exploring the fact that this dude indirectly caused the death of 1000s because he thought he was just playing a video game. He seems to recognize this but realistically depicting how psychologically damaging that would be might be too much for a kids anime lol
