somewhere in portland, there's one person, or a small handful of people, who came up with the inflatable costume idea, and I feel like they deserve our immense respect for defining the obvious developing aesthetic of the contemporary battle against fascism

It's always weird to me too how fast people try to speed through the pokemon games. I think it ruins the vibes.
Im not even bothering to memorize a lotta the city map, & it kind of makes the city feel bigger to me. I've been paused on main plot to just side quest & train & catch pokemon~

I still wonder if the guy in my health class in high school back in '07 gets ptsd remembering when he pronounced 'fatigue' as 'fat-ti-goo' in front of the whole class.

I get the design they were going for with Sharpedo as a torpedo pokemon...but it was alarming to turn the corner & seeing what looks like a shark cut in half for restaurants. 🤣

I enjoyed it for the most part...but I think Black Phone 2 is just a money grab. Unnecessary for real. It's like every horror movie that becomes popular they have to make a sequel or prequel for, & this is one that follows that trend.

And there's a romance between two inflatable costumed individuals, but there's no dialogue between them everything's just acted out & at the end they kiss through their costume's face screens in front of the saved factory 🤣
