Since @averyredbox.bsky.social currently has the other Visitel unit back in the MidWest that I bought during the show and I have mine out tonight we tried testing a picture call over VoIP and it worked!

It's official! We can now announce where our new location will be: 7681 S 180th Street in Kent, WA! We will be opening at our new location on Monday, December 15th! The new location is approximately 1.3 mi away from our current location so it should be easy to find us! We hope to see you there.

TechTangents just released a really neat follow-up video to his retrobriting attempts from ten years ago and how well it held up. I've never been a fan of it and I suspected his results for a while, looking at other people's work but it's nice he went and summarized it.

I think what I might try and do later today (I'm currently doing laundry) is I'm going to run a stream. Probably around 2pm Pacific Time. No idea how this is going to work out. I'm going to be experimenting a bit with setup. I might not even see the chat window.
