We have a population seeking spiritual/moral formation (reacting against Trumpism) and have developed theologies that reduce barrier to entry for marginalized people. If we get major social change (new form of gov, large scale war, tech revolution) then all the pieces will be in place.

Opponents of trans and immigrant lives are opponents of God’s kingdom (Is 56:3-8). Those whose crush His people will be repaid for their iniquity, and the Lord our God will wipe them out (Ps 94:23). Bigots will not know God’s mercy until they repent of their wickedness. (Ez 33:10-20)

Neither gender nor sexuality are attributes of God’s nature. His nature is that of mercy, grace, steadfast love, and continual justice. Therefore it’s proper for our understanding of sex/gender to be shaped by those attributes, not for our notions of sex/gender to control our conception of God.
