#Simpsons Challenge S28 Ep13

'Fatzcarraldo' would be best described as 'cheerful, but nonsensical.' Even by Season 28, the story is absolute chaos, I'm shocked professional writers produced it.

A mess of an ep but I'll be abusing Homer's line of "I have no endgame!" going forward 🤣

#Simpsons Challenge S28 Ep12

'The Great Phatsby' is a 43 mins long double episode and I'm glad I broke it into two sittings.

Homer's narrating got a few wry smiles from me but there wasn't much else there...which is bad for a 43 min long episode!

'Pork And Burns' continues Season 28's weird obsession with fan service - this time it brings Spider Pig back.

It's a mess tbh - Marge and Lisa are annoying, nothing makes sense, a nice Bart/Lisa moment is rushed.... inoffensive but disappointing.

'The Nightmare After Krustmas' isn't a good episode at all but there are good lines from Krusty at least.

Just too many plots jammed in to one episode again, probably need the episode to be an hour long to make it all make sense

I think 'The Last Traction Hero' has it's positives (decent premise, some good lines, best Mr Burns use in years) and negatives (padded out jokes, annoying Lisa B plot, weird Marge/Smithers bits)

Not sure if 5 is generous but I've definitely seen worse

I liked the premise of 'Dad Behaviour' (Homer gets an app to do his chores) but it's just an awful remake of 'Brother From The Same Planet'

The 'Grampa is going to be a dad' subplot? 😬 Just no

Avoids a 1 because I loved the retired hostage negotiator bits

'Havana Wild Weekend' is a Grandpa main story that plays out like one of his rambling anecdotes...it just seems to go on and on.

I smirked a few times but this is a confusing slog of an episode.

The funniest use of any song in a film or TV show is Homer Simpson having War's Why Can't We be Friends as his walk out music when he fights Drederick Tatum. Can no longer listen to it without cracking up.
