It’s absolutely outrageous that @ameliagentleman.bsky.social has written this article and hasn’t included a single word from sex worker-led organisations or outreach charities that work with sex workers who oppose these proposals. Where is the balance? Where are the voices of actual sex workers?

It’s hard to describe just how inspirational and admired Peter Krykant was for #harmreduction activists. His bravery and compassion have made real, life-saving change for drug users in the UK. Solidarity and gratitude forever.
This news is utterly heartbreaking. I met Peter a few times and, like many others, I've been inspired by his direct action to address drug harms.

My thoughts are with his friends, family & all those feelings this loss.

Bookmarked!
Looking forward to reading 'Psychedelic Capitalism' by Jamie Brownlee & Kevin Walby, which just arrived on my doormat

It explores the renaissance 'in the context of corporate capture, medicalization, and the war on drugs'

I’m backing @zackpolanski.bsky.social for the next Green Party leader because he understands & champions our drug policy - which is to legalise & regulate all drugs. It will save lives, improve health & social justice outcomes and stop wasting billions in policing a war that cannot be won. 💚

"The Slice has been investigating the arrival of dangerous synthetic opioids...interviewed dozens of local experts, charities, grassroots groups...national specialists about the science, psychology, and legal framework of drugs.

There’s one name that keeps coming up: Zoë Garbett."

The job of politics is to convince people that moral policies must be adopted, not to adopt immoral policies in order to chase votes. The Labour Party is the opposite of politics.

Not THE story of the night. But good point. Women over 50 rock just as we are, not as people under 40 think we should look (just wait babies, you’ll be here soon enough!)
Elizabeth May is the only woman over 50 on CTV that looks like the women over 50 that I know look like. Like do whatever you want to make you feel fuckable or whatever but it would be good to get some representation out here of what woman look like without intervention.

Part 2
-So much of the electorate voting far-right is not a victory of the Left
-The cutting of public services is not a victory of the Left
-Ignoring the cost of living in Canada and only focussing on Trump as electorate palliative is not a victory of the Left

Important post re: victory of Liberal Party of Canada (LPC) in yesterday’s election.
So Canada can catch its breath this morning, but before the big analysis in European media comes out, let me help you:

-The LPC victory is not a victory of the Left
-The continuation of neoliberal violence is not a victory of the Left
-A white-settler oil future is not a victory of the Left

I know there are many trans and non-binary people who will be feeling deeply worried today, caught in the midst of a media storm as they try to simply live their lives. Please know that I stand with you - today, tomorrow and always.
