Es mag auf Anhieb richtig erscheinen, dass man mit CRISPR gezüchtete Pflanzen bzw Lebensmittel kennzeichnen sollte. Warum dem nicht so ist und eine Aufhebung der Kennzeichnungspflicht für NGT1 logisch & Verbrauchenden ggü transparent ist, wird hier gut erklärt:

Die EU regelt neu, wie Lebensmittel, die gentechnisch veränderte Pflanzen enthalten, gekennzeichnet werden müssen. Eine überfällige und angemessene Anpassung.

This year, we celebrate Margaret Dayhoff’s 100th birthday. She built the first protein database when computers filled entire rooms, introduced the amino acid code, and worked on substitution matrices we still rely on today.
