On top of that, I was expecting more new Mario releases for the 40th anniversary, but this time around, it seems to be DLC and re-releases. Nothing bad, but it subverted my expectations.

The most I was excited for was the Bananza DLC. I was kinda intrigued by the Virtual Boy expansion, but after seeing the price for the accessory needed for that, I think I’ll hold off for a long time or pass on it.

Small nitpick: DK Island seems a bit small.

I get that it’s based of DK 64, but I think it could be a tad bigger. Regardless, I do plan on trying it out.
