We (an MPs office) send Christmas cards to all the mosques in our constituency! And they are gratefully received!
Kind of funny how on the American right getting prayer into public schools to "reChristianise America" is a massive goal, while in the UK basically every primary school puts on a nativity play this time of year and the Muslim and Jewish kids participate and people hardly notice it is religious

Rightly lots of debates about growth this weekend - rightly because it was low productivity growth that saw wages entirely flatline during the 2010s.

There's lots of talk about radicalisation on X - and it's awful especially for politicos etc. But Facebook is increasingly terrifying too.

Look at any Labour MP's post about the 2 child limit, the main comment you'll see is that it's about helping "third world" immigrants who are "breeding"

Scrapping the two-child limit in full is a monumental decision. Well done to all involved in the Child Poverty Strategy, and everyone who has made the case against the policy.

OBR says scrapping costs £3 billion in 2029-30 and will lift 450,000 out of poverty

I feel like I'm going insane here, why is no one saying Trump is boycotting this because he's a racist? It's v simple! He can't stand African leaders. He is just a simple racist. Better to get on without him
The future of the Group of 20 is uncertain after Donald Trump boycotted the summit in South Africa and there were numerous other dropouts among world leaders.

And this advice would entirely empower them.

There is no evidence that stripping refugees' rights one by one will have any impact on people crossing the channel.

Taking jewellery from refugees is akin to painting over murals for refugee children.

These repugnant ‘deterrents’ did not work for the Tories, and they won't work for us.

A strong immigration system doesn't need to be a cruel one.

It shouldn't need saying - but refugees & asylum seekers are real people, fleeing war and persecution.

This daughter of an immigrant is proud of our British and Labour values of respect and not turning our backs on people in real need.

Politics is easy when you rest on slogans. Even if you then end up as an apologist for imperialism.
There is always money for war, never for the poor.

Every penny spent on bombs, tanks and missiles is stolen from our homes, schools and hospitals.

We are not going to take it anymore.
