I did a study from the Dark Fae reference pack offered by @howardlyonart.bsky.social. I wanted to focus on the overall mood, lighting, and use of color. Ive been a little burnt out, so this was a fun and low pressure piece to do, and I really like the overall result!

A few things
1. "genAi is a transformative work" - this lawsuit proves repeatedly how that's not the case, Midjourney makes exact copies
2. "they're going to settle!" for what? Disney and Universal want blood, not dollars
3. There's no way to unring this bell, you can't untrain these models

This lawsuit is brutal. One of the exhibits is the letter Universal sent to Midjourney, including a quote from a 2022 Forbes interview that I bet midjourney regrets
