Guess who promoted 9/12? Glenn Beck. It was all over his show and Fox News. The “9/12 Project”. I remember it well. “Let’s all be united again like we were the day after 9/11” 🙄 These same jerks spat on John Lewis.

I fking hate the teabaggers. They were astroturf. Funded by AFP, Heritage Foundation, etc and amplified by Fox News. I used to see the logos all over their banners and stuff. It was absurd. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert were my saviors at that time. Their comedy kept me sane.

@vermontgmg.bsky.social I’m reading “The Devil Reached Toward the Sky” and I love it—how amazing it must have been to be a part of the Manhattan Project. The way they describe Los Alamos it almost feels like science camp for adults with a very serious purpose. What an experience.

He had to back away because one of his longtime friends called him out and quit the salesforce foundation board. The guy basically said ”Just because you don’t want to pay for more security during Dreamforce isn’t an excuse to call the national guard.”

When people are making asses of themselves we don’t need to physically hurt them like we’re schoolyard bullies. By doing that, especially to an older man, we make ourselves look no better than them. If that makes me a concern troll so be it. It’s called optics.

Initially yes. Then he gets up and keeps running and it looks like someone with an American flag wearing a black hoodie shoves him or punches him as he runs by and he falls again. That’s the part I’m talking about.
