In case you’re wondering why Pete Hegseth is freaking out about a congressional video reminding the military not to participate in illegal orders:
To put a finer point on this whole thing: "Two people with direct knowledge of the operation" — presumably uniformed military leaders — are accusing the U.S. Secretary of Defense of personally ordering specific war crimes. That's a historic accusation.

The only path forward is pressure on Russia to change this stance—sanctions and resumed US military assistance to Ukraine. Otherwise, the last 10 months were a waste.

I am making a full Thanksgiving feast today! My partner won a turkey, along with some stuffing and cranberry sauce. I also bought some mashed potatoes & gravy, dinner rolls, and my partner wants a green bean casserole.
I'm glad that my chronic pain is not an issue today, and pray the coffee works!
