I can't imagine being a pet shop owner's dog and being absolutely surrounded by this many smells all the time and not being able to eat them all 😭

An unrecognised or previously hated animal species getting the recognition and love it deserves is SUCH a double edged sword and I hate it.
Unrecognised = people don't care if they are endangered, injured, etc.
Finally loved = people doing stupid fucking tiktok trends with them, abusing animals.

I don't really have any irl friends that aren't like, someone else's friends that I just third wheel with 😭like everyone I know irl is either my partner's friend that I kinda know or my siblings' friends so I never hang out with the people without those other people there.

Decided to try feeding Michael (leopard gecko) locusts again instead of dubias and crickets and oh god I remember why I stopped 😭 they just fucking TELEPORT it's SO HARD TO catch them without a bunch escaping !!!

Btw my health is still absolute dog shit and I am really struggling to do daily tasks and I am VERY slow with commissions rn. I am very sorry. I will be going on immunosuppressive medication soon that will hopefully help me get back to doing things.

Foolproof way to help sick ferrets feel normal again:
Let them 'escape' into rooms they're not usually allowed into.
Even more effective if you go "noooo don't escape oh noooo you're loose !!"
This has now worked without fail for me three times with ferret sickness.
Let them 'escape' into rooms they're not usually allowed into.

She's pooping normally again, and she's eating and drinking. She's just so so lethargic still, but she's trying to move around as best she can and she still aggressively fought the carrier the whole way back from the vet.
Vet says it could be the same thing as last time. She's on pain meds, anti-nausea, fluids and antibiotics. I feel so horrible that I can't do more for her. It would almost be easier if it was a blockage because at least then we'd KNOW what was happening.
