finally have felt consistently healthy for a while so its back to working out. definitely had some false starts there. my body just gives me a massive migraine if the air pressure dips and spikes and two atmospheric rivers is gonna do a lot of that!

its a perfect storm of problems. everyone is bracing for layoffs or a major economic crash, new systems have weak libraries, you're paying more for a lot less. you probably have a million games on Steam and your PS4 you will never get to and the PS5's pitch is "play those games but faster"

its a perfect storm of problems. everyone is bracing for layoffs or a major economic crash, new systems have weak libraries, you're paying more for a lot less. you probably have a million games on Steam and your PS4 you will never get to and the PS5's pitch is "play those games but faster"

something unbelievable about elden ring is that even though it's a game with 100x the scope they carry a lot of this forward. obviously not as tight as a 15hr controlled action game but the fact that you can always look around and are surrounded by a painting *you can walk to* is ridiculous
its incredible how effortlessly cinematic Sekiro is. the scene with the giant serpent trying to spot the player in the snowy tall grass is etched in my mind as a short film, but it's all gameplay, control is never taken away from you

i think the crux of "AI is here to stay" arguments is the belief that AI is just free. its just magical and produces work out of thin air. it doesn't guzzle millions of dollars a day just on maintenance and cooling costs alone, none of these AI companies will ever expect payment, its just wizardry
