another big factor is people are already satisfied with their current devices. theres more gaming on my switch+xbox than Ill ever have time to get through. in 2009 you were paying ~200 for access to a new generation of games, now they want 500+ for a better resolution on the same titles

its a zelda game with heart pieces and mid-level items that recontextualize the area, like the axe that splits shields right when you start running into annoying shield guys. it owns but it did completely take out character building, which imo is another strength cause its so focused
