We named the cat "Bitchface"
bought the Strange Attractor press book about Penda's Fen in part because it contains the script and we needed to know if she actually called the cat "Bitchface" in the film

albuquerque, they said
never gives up her dead
when your mom makes sauer-

when I was a kid "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" came on the radio and my dad said "this is the longest song I know of" and I looked him dead in the eye and said "Weird Al's 'Albuquerque'"

Explore a haunted movie studio. Learn the fates of the tormented souls bound to it. End a 50-year curse inscribed in blood and celluloid.

KINOPHOBIA, my first piece of noncommercial interactive fiction in eight years, is now available to play.

owen's music has been a constant presence in my life for nearly 25 years, a consistent comfort and inspiration.

I hope that you are fortunate enough to have artists' work in your life that you've grown with and that grows you.
In anticipation of Advance Base's upcoming Eastern & Midwestern US tours, I've decided to share a couple of long-lingering but newly-completed Advance Base songs: "Movie Theater Manager" & "Blue Christmas 2." The songs are available exclusively from Bandcamp.

In the horror story version of my life, there would be a day when I go to my local post office to check my p.o. box & I stick my hand in a little too far & I get sucked through to the other side & then I become the man in the photo above my p.o. box, Stanley-Kubrick's-The-Shining-style.
