Fresh air, fresh snow, fresh memories: another wonderful and active trip to Banff. We love coming here, and we’ll be back again. 🚲❄️🏔️🌲

More wintry than we expected, but we’re nonetheless well prepared for it.

It’s been a stressful, strenuous year. Things at home are good and strong, but other compartments of life take their toll.

I’m grateful for a bit of time off work this week and the unexpected opportunity to escape with (or perhaps into) Beatrice and Sam.

Our usual signifiers of time away:

Police in Airdrie, Alberta (just north of Calgary) say this driver hit a 17-year-old girl in a marked crosswalk, got out of the vehicle, and appeared to get upset at the teenager before driving away.

They released this video and are now trying to identify the driver.
