Erik Hall's solitary reconstructions of the classics of minimalism have been one of the more thrilling things going on in music these past few years. Very psyched he's got another coming -- taking on Branca, Palestine, Reich and Spiegel.

RIP Steve Cropper. Let's listen to Booker T. & the MGs's final Stax single, "Melting Pot," a track which smokes so hard it should be illegal.

Reporter: If there were a second strike that killed wounded people, would that be legal?

Trump: I don’t know that happened and Pete said he did not even know what people were talking about. I wouldn’t have wanted a second strike. The first strike was very lethal. It was fine.

This is definitely a real guy. I used to trade music with an older Gen X dude in Chicago (who turned me onto a lot of proto-metal heavy psych rock like Leaf Hound and Dust) who used to say 'The Cramps are better than the Beatles' all the time. It was a ridiculous position, but I think he believed it
As someone who is this guy's age I can tell you 100% that if you were into Pixies, Nirvana, 120 Minutes stuff, etc. but didn't like the Beatles you had to have worked hard to contort yourself into that special little box. Your enemy, if you absolutely needed one, was hair metal. GTFO here with this.
