Love these books and these covers were the ones I grew up with. The Horned King is metal as hell.
I have said before and will say again that it is such a loss that we no longer get covers of this caliber for fantasy books.

Decided to reread On A Pale Horse. I remember the series getting kinda weird around the 4th book and super gross in the 7th, but remembered the 1st book as lighthearted fun.

I think the main reason I love Bake Off so much is because it’s really just 10 hours of watching people become friends. Every season ends with a slideshow of all these people vacationing together and hanging out.

I have it on excellent authority that Lower Decks was, in fact, made for people who hadn’t seen any other Star Trek shows.
i can’t believe people were trying to dissuade me from starting trek with lower decks because i “wouldn’t understand the references” as if it isn’t super accessible on its own with incredible joke density that all land perfectly on the merit of excellent characterization and absurd plot lmfao
