Great monumental mosque from Central Anatolia. Esrefoglu mosques’ columns are all made of wood and still standing since 1300s. A Roman work of art is also attached to the building at the base, which is used as a charity collecting box.

Turkish President Erdogan and Turkiye seems to be the main beneficiaries of the situation in Syria. Assad's fall is imminent and he can no longer be a negotiator who could deliver. Turkiye will be talking to the new US administration and the next Syrian government.

Finally I watched it. I think Gladiator II does not fully capture the essence that made the original film resonate with audiences. Only watching Denzel was something.

As I projected 15 years ago the main axis of conflict in the Middle East is Arab-Kurdish war. It will dominate Syria and Iraq. It is ideological as well as ethnic. Aleppo is just the begining
Syrian rebel factions have overrun several strategic town southwest of Iranian/Russian-occupied Aleppo and reached the outskirts of Aleppo itself. Panic in Aleppo has started.
