Great monumental mosque from Central Anatolia. Esrefoglu mosques’ columns are all made of wood and still standing since 1300s. A Roman work of art is also attached to the building at the base, which is used as a charity collecting box.

I visited several refugee camps in Turkiye between 2012-2016. I am proud that my country hosted those kids and families from Assad’s brutal regime. Especially after I saw Sednaya prison’s torture centers. #sednaya #Syria

Turkish President Erdogan and Turkiye seems to be the main beneficiaries of the situation in Syria. Assad's fall is imminent and he can no longer be a negotiator who could deliver. Turkiye will be talking to the new US administration and the next Syrian government.
