Mainoo did a lot of pointing when he came on but also the midfield became a graveyard for Bournemouth attacks. We desperately need some legs in the middle. Fernandes, great that he has been, needs moving on as well as Casemiro.

Heaven at CCB has been terrific tonight. Makes a huge difference breaking the press by bringing the ball forwards instead of knocking it sideways. Going to be difficult to drop him on the last two performances, as De Ligt and Maguire nowhere near as good at it.

Really not sure what’s going on with Mbeumo. Dunno if he’s carrying a knock but he’s not the same player he was start season. Ball bouncing off him when it was glued to him. Pace not quite the same.

Horrible news all over the place at the moment so how about a totally inconsequential conversation?
