Most "tools" are judged on their ability to reproduce outputs. Gen Ai can't reproduce outputs.

Tools are also judged on the amount of "true" output it gives. If you had a hammer that mysteriously hit your thumb 5% of the time you used it. You'd probably throw it away.

There are basically only two positions in the debate about AI.
1. I’ve barely invested any time in learning how to use it effectively. AI sucks.
2. I’ve invested in learning how to use this tool. Holy cow, it’s transformational.

Position #1 has lower barriers to entry.

This Supreme Court case in Louisiana is about one thing, and one thing only: reinstituting Jim Crow by way of ensuring that Black Americans are taxed without receiving representation in Congress.

Everything else is noise and bluster.
