Art is propaganda!!! lol
It’s funny that the song “Let's Hear It for the Boy” is a woman singing about how her mediocre boyfriend deserves a round of applause and it was written by two men. And it’s catchy as hell. The perfect crime.

It's weird that they're basically making up an enemy group and they still chose to call them the Anti Fascists
so glad late night hosts are back speaking truth to power
I bet a Delilah-based white noise machine would fix me if one were to exist
Elphaba’s name should be Elphraba. Why did nobody ask me before it was too late to fix it?
Just because it’s a necessity doesn’t mean it can’t also be rad as hell
The thing about special needs is that they’re needs. They’re not special wants.
Democracy doesn’t mean “everyone gets a say in their own lives.” You already get a say. It’s your life. Democracy means “everyone gets a say in your life whether you like it or not.” You’re exchanging autonomy for the illusion that you get in say in other’s autonomy. Selfish and misguided at best.
Fighting for equality in an unjust system instead of tearing down the unjust system prolongs the injustice. When those in power put someone’s right to life to a debate, stop them. Don’t join the debate while they’re killing people. Don’t shake hands and agree to disagree, and let them keep killing.
And you’re trying to get equal voting rights for the people that democracy was built to oppress. If their lives are already put to a vote, you’ve already stripped them of their personhood. Letting them have a say in how the system oppresses them is not equality. It’s pacification.
If democracy worked the way it was sold, it would still be a terrible system. Why should everyone get a say in everything? Why do so many people get to decide on shit that is none of their business or concern and doesn’t affect them? Why do you get more of a say on some stranger’s life than they do?
“Well, I can’t make you doing anything…”

Oh, I know. That’s why I’m telling you that I’m not going to do it.
If you had asked then, “How big of a role do you think Comedy Central’s The Man Show will play in the fall of America,” I bet a lot of people would have said, “Probably a big one!”

But NONE of them would have correctly predicted how it would happen.

Okay so I need to vent about 9/11 as a brown person.

I had a pretty strong reaction yesterday with all of the stuff going on and 9/11 always hits hard but I have learned to ignore it because I’ve learned there is a monumental lack of compassion for non-whites and immigrants to that day.
Any supreme being you return to would be lucky to meet a group of individuals so stylish and comfy.
I don’t say this as a condemnation of your morals or to say mine are better. I’m only questioning what your morals are, because your respect for the indefensible has me needing additional and direct clarification.
You wanted me to feel empathy for her. She wanted us dead. Stop treating dangerous hate mongers who hide their violent bigotry behind politics and religion with more kindness than the people they want to exterminate. Don’t “nice” and “polite” and “moral high ground” yourself into fascism.
To avoid speak ill of the dead any further, fuck Charlie Kirk’s widow for using the fact that a fascist white guy killed her fascist white husband to call for vengeance on the people who had nothing to do with any of it, the people that both her husband and his killed decided were subhuman.
