They know that if they keep wages below a tax break that people working could never outlast them. It’s almost like we should eat the rich to sustain us.

Fun fact. They do cost projections based on lowering salaries so they look at this as a one time expenditure which still nets them a profit at the end of the fiscal year.

It’s also why republicans don’t want things like UBI because then workers could wait out businesses.
