The rain isn't at the torrential levels expected, but it's definitely steady. There's still a local flood watch from now through Friday morning, so I expect that there will be a lot of trees falling over the next few days.

I think that it was las week that I woke up to the disco lights of cop cars and 1st responder trucks, early in the morning? Today had some sort of low-key drama going on, with two cops showing up at the same address. Cop cars have been relentlessly circling the block all morning.

There are only 12 survivors of Pearl Harbor left. All of them are centenarians.
None of them were able to attend today's remembrance ceremony.
That's sad, and a bit depressing.
