hear from me by. I enlisted a friend who's a former Navy SEAL to be my unofficial security consultant. (Some of his advice was less than practical. He told me that as a woman, 1 am five to eight times more likely to be physically attacked and should be prepared to use lethal force if necessary, which would require training in hand-to-hand tactics. Besides which, pundits are concerned with punditry and hashing out wonky policy details, not with the ostensible social function of critique. It’s stupid!

Every time there's any kind of actual in-depth survey we find that the American people are *abysmally* ignorant about even the most basic political facts, but the pundit class just immediately forgets & proceeds with political analysis based on subtle policy differences.
