Reminder to learn about targeted and strategic boycotts and divestments. Especially to my indie game dev homies, since tech and game dev go hand in hand.

Boycotts do work. It’s a lie, propaganda, and outright dangerous to those being affected by these companies, to say otherwise.

Yeah, I worked in customer support and, if it's a 'peak' of one day, they will not care. They'll wipe their hands and say "ok, volumes are back to normal, it's fixed"

In that time, the situation in Gaza has, somehow, grown even more dire. Food and water remain scarce due to Israeli aid blockades, and thousands of ppl have been killed or maimed by IOF soldiers deliberately targeting the few remaining humanitarian hubs. Still, more and more people around the world are recognizing the genocide for what it is and fighting to sever the flow of military and economic resources to Israel. Every person who raises their voice in defense of Palestine is a tiny wedge in the gears of racist empire. Every donation to a crowdfunding campaign, every effort to disrupt the aid blockades, every refusal to normalize the daily horrors endured by Palestinian people is a small but necessary intervention.
