In all the reading I've done on how we got to where we are, and why Trumpism rose to where it is, I feel as if what's often missed are the two key reasons all this has happened. A thread. 1/

This should be the biggest story in the country right now. The sitting US President was extorting state lawmakers from his own party by threatening to withhold public money if they didn’t gerrymander for him.

I don’t know how else to say it…

Did you know that before Nixon and Reagan, health insurance companies in America were non-profit? Yep, they screamed about "socialized medicine" and gradually shifted the focus of our entire healthcare system from public welfare to... making bucks off illness.

RFK Jr.'s claim that COVID vaccines are deadly? Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. In this new extraordinarily large study, vaccinated individuals had a 74% lower risk of death from severe COVID-19 and a 25% lower risk of all-cause mortality compared to those unvaccinated. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...

She was eventually let go, per David Goodhue of the Miami Herald, who also took this footage:

This stuff needs to be told.
As Stalin said, "A single death is a tragedy, but a million deaths is a statistic."
The White House is compiling statistics.
We need to tell these stories, over and over.
Rabbiatu is a nurse who worked during COVID, had been in the U.S. 30 years. A judge ordered that she could not be sent back to Sierra Leone for her safety, for fear of torture (!). So our evil regime sent her to Ghana (in shackles), and Ghana dragged her back to Sierra Leone.
🧵This 58-year-old nurse from Maryland is seen being violently dragged along the ground by officials in Ghana.

Trump deported her there.

This abhorrent & disgusting abuse of a woman who saved American lives and cared for injured and ill Americans for 30 years.

All the details below are worse.

At the same time, he promotes supplements and IV peptides that aren’t approved or regulated by the FDA or any other body.

So Pete Hegseth and Donald Trump really just want Mark Kelly to run for POTUS and humiliate JD Vance, right?

Bc that's the only explanation that actually makes sense.

31 years ago this month, I warned that America was becoming a two-tiered society composed of a few winners and a larger group left behind, whose anger and disillusionment could be easily manipulated.

I took a lot of heat for this speech. Watch and tell me if I was wrong.

I'll say it. Trump is the reason the two national guards were shot. If Trump wouldn't have sent in the national guards into D.C. for a made up crime epidemic, they would not of been there. He can spin it anyway. This is what he wants, chaos. That way he can invoke the insurrection act.

Demolishing the East Wing of the White House before finalizing plans for what will be built above its ruins is a near-perfect metaphor for Trump's approach to economic policy. The only difference is the wrecking crew doesn’t claim the rubble is evidence of unprecedented growth.

Trump envoy Steve Witkoff has been outed as a Russian asset. This is traitorous stuff.
Steve Witkoff helped Russia derail Ukraine’s access to Tomahawk missiles. He tipped off the Kremlin about Zelensky’s U.S. visit, giving Moscow time to arrange a call that convinced Trump to block the deal. Witkoff actively works against Ukraine’s defense, in coordination with Putin’s regime.
