So I headcanon it out of spite because to me she is trans and no amount of backpedaling will ever change that if they say something about it in the future.

Yeah see it’s a weird thing

In Japan, the developers say she’s cis

But here they say she’s trans because apparently in the 1980’s it would be more acceptable to hit a trans woman since “they didn’t really count” I guess. We still don’t have an official answer, so it both is and isn’t a headcanon.

It’s such a good ship too because they both did the same things like failing to save their brother, revealing their powers to save others, and being abused by another mutant, but while Emma let the past harden her (heh) and turn her evil, Scott became a hero. Then he helped her change.
