Budget 2025

Cash ISA limit cut from £20,000 to £12,000, £8,000 more if invested in shares; over 65s can keep £20,000 in cash.

Example of how the state helps the City of London.

£8,000 in shares doesn't mean companies get more for investment. It is transfer from A to B. City gets commissions.

OBR commentary on the budget:

"The implementation of digital ID cards is provisionally forecast to cost £1.8 billion in total over the next three years".

Govt says the cost will be met from existing departmental budgets.

Which services will be cut? Will the budget overrun?

When Republicans become aware there’s few stories that’ll take people away from the Epstein files they declassify swastikas, nooses and Confederate flags as hate symbols for a temporary distraction.
Exclusive: The U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify the swastika, nooses and the Confederate flag as hate symbols.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

This is the reporter that Donald Trump called "Piggy." She is Catherine Lucey, currently with Bloomberg.

I don't think it is a coincidence that, back in 2018, Lucey was the first reporter to ask Trump about Stormy Daniels. Trump responded with a lie, but, clearly, did not forget the question.

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released emails Wednesday, including one from 2019 in which disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein alleged that Trump "knew about the girls."

Democrats assert the emails "raise serious questions" about Trump and his knowledge of Epstein's sex crimes.

These 8 Senators are just following their Dear Leader.

He’s trying to rob the treasury of $230M as retribution for being investigated for crimes, so of course they are going to try to do the same!
They probably want kudos for showing restraint & only trying to steal $500k each!
