This woman is mentally unbalanced
Interesting thread on current social media use
Overall social media use is declining.

Between 2020 and 2024, more Americans — especially the youngest (18–24) and oldest (65+) — report using no social media at all.

A small group of heavy users remains, but the middle is thinning out.
Sex pest has audacity to make women’s rights his campaign issue
A reminder that we, the voting public, hold more power than we think
Also the art was weird in this one - not including Legion in the future spread and not picturing Alfred on his death page

It felt a little unfocused on hitting key character history highlights
It was such a huge plot point that Max murdered Ted, it was even referenced in New History itself, not mentioning Ted felt wrong

I’ve always loved Lilith so it’s been nice to see the Rebirth era serving her well - but yeah in the grand scope she’s not a big player so I was surprised by her mention
Physical! The timeline is essential it’s the history DC will refer to moving forward
Thanks to everyone who has been following my takedowns of the series it’s been super fun!
The story ends with a charming bit where Barry (canonically a comic book fan see Flash #123!) visits a comic shop

It’s Waid, so it ends on a hopeful beat and a cute nod to DC Comics :)
The timeline clarifies Legion doings, with essentially pre-crisis Legion restored as the “prime” version

Other versions still exist tho as multiversal variants, including the Post Zero Hour “Archie” Legion, the rebellious 2004 version and the recent Bendis Legion

No mention of Five Year Gap
Wild that the Legion is not featured on the “tomorrow heroes” 2-page spread

I mean what are we even doing here, Barry?
In the timeline it states that after Flashpoint “Ralph and Sue Dibny Live again, as does Omen (Lilith Clay)”

Wild to call out just those three - but also presumably applies to Aquagirl, Gnarrk, Kid Devil, Ted Cord and a host of others

But that’s the now canonical explanation
Still, surprisingly, a number of New 52 events are intact, with Rebirth eventually realigning history to remove inconsistencies like goldfish-memory Starfire and the incongruous New 52 Teen Titans presumably
“Kendra Saunders reemerged as Hawkgirl, sharing memories and more with the still-existing original Hawkwoman”

What even goes on with these Hawks?

I will never relent in my assertion that the reincarnation angle adds little and complicates endlessly
So “Doomsday Clock” storyline is where the last vestiges of New 52 incongruities are erased, which can excuse any initial mistakes in the early Rebirth era stories
Hey everybody, Steve Trevor is dead again
Ok so Damian and Jon Kent were still adventuring as Super Sons even tho Jon was born just after Infinite Crisis — which in no way can chronologically sync with them both being 10 years old

What the what, Barry?
Jackson Hyde Aqualad now debuts post-Rebirth event tho he previously debuted pre-Flashpoint

It’s a choice I guess
I love how Barry remarks that the New 52 was “the most horrific mistake imaginable” so now it’s even true canonically - we feel you, Barry

Also, dammit Barry
NGL this issue is an assault of multiversal cosmic shenanigans, which I guess underscores a lot of 21st century comics :)
Reminder, in the text timeline it says “the events chronicled by Barry Allen were grouped by theme into a cohesive narrative. What follows is the definitive timeline…”

So take everything Barry is Gossip Girling from the Speed Force with a grain of salt

These jokes are so bad 🤣 I love it
I hope a lot of lawsuits are being filed and the victims can at least get a cash out
