Going to do a new pinned post as I'm changing domain, my domain is now bigbeardedbookseller.uk and everything is going on this domain now.

I'm writing about pretty much anything I'm interested in when I have something to say, so no timetable as such.

So. Morbid author question.

What do fellow indie authors have in their wills about their books/stories?

I am for ghosts at the glass. Ghosts of the twitching net curtain. I am for those wounds in time that discharge phantoms, leak glimpses of yesterday. If each pane is a haunted possibility, we may walk the city observed by a thousand spectral eyes. – #CJosiffe #Ghosts
A black and white photograph of an old window in an Ashcourt street. The bottom half of it is curtained with net, the top half reflects the Georgian terraced house across the street. The image reeks of phantoms and time as a sickness.

Och I’m a day late, sorry.
Just finished this book which I first read in the mid ‘80’s. I have to confess I skipped over the abattoir chapters this time as well. It shouts of the difficulties of being working class and a creative. I got frustrated by Mat at times, and felt sorry for Helen, his wife.
Book cover showing a background of tenement flats, a tree, a bird, a bell and a fish (this is the Glasgow coat of arms). In the foreground is a young man shirt sleeves rolled up, arms leaning on a desk one arm bent and fist resting on his brow. There is an open notebook and a pen on the desk.
This book contains one finished novel ‘The Dear Green Place’ and an unfinished story ‘Fur Sadie’ both by author Archie Hind.

there are very few things I like to watch on YouTube - for some reason the way many people present overwhelms my autistic brain. but I just watched Simon from the Hermit's Cave channel review my deck and he's got such a slow, gentle way about him, I love it www.youtube.com/watch?v=4C03... #tarotsky

I picked up a copy of Walter Benjamin and Bertolt Brecht: The Story of a Friendship by Erdmut Wizisla - largely because the timeline at the beginning made them seem like a pair of mean girls out to ‘to annihilate Heidegger’ in a reading group.

What happens when horror stops looking for monsters in the dark and starts confronting the ones hiding in plain sight? For author Todd Brown, the most profound terror isn’t found in a haunted house,
