How do we not have a Bojak Congressman ad? I mean, get it together.
Seriously - if you live in the 149th, $10 becomes $130! This campaign will be powered by working people, not corporate and developer money - and this fund matching program is how we win.
Bojak's the real deal - help change the politics in WNY by donating today. Donations up to $50 are matched 12-1 by the NYS election matching program!

I cannot WAIT for Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida to have to coordinate, deploy and pay for their own disaster recovery.
The draft report's downsizing reflects the Trump administration's push to disengage the federal government from disaster management and the agency overseeing it, FEMA—pushing more responsibility for preparing, responding to and recovering from climate disasters on states, tribes and territories.
FEMA Reforms Bryant Helped Draft ‘Got Nuked’ in Favor of Cuts
A much-anticipated report on reforms to FEMA that former Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant helped draft has been whittled down in favor of drastic cuts.

Environmentalism is basically bad is a an all time “lol, wut?”
If there’s no shale gas then there’s no shale gas, but I still think environmentalism is basically bad and politicians should focus more on material prosperity.

How bout this; let them withdraw, continue to take the money they’re required to pay into DART, discontinue all service in their jurisdictions, use the money to increase the frequency and availability of bus services and build out a streetcar network in the city center.
Four of DART’s 13 member cities — Plano, Irving, Farmers Branch and Highland Park — have called elections on May 2 to allow voters to decide if they want to stay in or leave the transit system, citing inadequate service for the amount of sales taxes they contribute.
What could transit look like in North Texas as cities consider withdrawing from DART?

Can we just get ranked choice voting and non-partisan primaries please?
If you follow me at all, I hope I've made clear that the problems we face in combating authoritarianism and winning elections rhyme:

1. Purposely broken media/journalism/brains, which leads to
2. A massive Democratic brand problem

I think we now see what confronting those twin crises looks like.

Just, on top of the fact that people on SNAP aren’t really just going out and buying candy this desire to immiserate people further is something especially evil.
By prohibiting SNAP recipients from purchasing processed foods, Gov. Reeves hopes to curry favor with the Trump administration as he seeks funding for a proposed rural health initiative to improve health-care access and outcomes for patients while bolstering the state’s rural medical workforce.
Reeves Seeks to Ban SNAP Recipients From Sugary Foods
Gov. Tate Reeves aims to ban Mississippi SNAP recipients from buying unhealthy foods as part of a bid to woo Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Oh they’re doing BIG corruption.
Among those fired or forced out, the WSJ has reported: Fannie Mae’s chief ethics officer and general counsel, about a dozen members of its ethics and internal investigations unit, and the acting inspector general at the Federal Housing Finance Agency, which oversees Fannie Mae.
Breaking WSJ:

Fannie Mae watchdogs who were removed from their jobs had been probing if Trump appointee Bill Pulte had improperly obtained mortgage records of key Democratic officials, including New York Attorney General Letitia James, according to people familiar with the matter.
