There's a chance that it could be an old paint mural thing or potentially even old wallpaper that was painted over before you moved in. If it wasn't primed correctly before being repainted then that would lead to the old paint beginning to peak through!

That happens to me a lot, usually twisting a joint while moving around in my sleep (i'm a bit of a rotisserie chicken sleeper). The initial pain almost never is enough to wake me up when it happens, so I get a fun surprise when I try to slide out of bed

1 of the best things about being a vtuber is that it makes me feel like I can do all the things I've dreamed of!
