If Microsoft wanted to make OneDrive more obnoxious I'm not sure they could pull it off. All I want to do is back the whole thing up to an external drive. There is no easy way to do so unless I have hundreds of GB of free space on my internal drive.

AI companies are spending obscene money to build out their tech, and companies like MSFT are stuffing LLMs into every product, which costs them in terms of compute spend. None of this scales. None of it makes business sense.
