Maybe it's because I'm a filthy socialist, but I don't care if #CanadaPost loses money. It's a social service that many people rely on. I suspect folks struggling with disability and poverty are especially reliant on it. Students, too—the NSLSC demands paper originals for medical leave.

If you're Canadian and you didn't vote during the advanced period, please vote tomorrow.
If you're unsure of who to vote for, this handy tool will help you not split the vote and hopefully cost the Cons a few seats.
(If you're voting Con, shove it.)

Something about this federal election that is really pissing me off is that Polievre is allowed to release his costed platform after advanced voting ends. He can say whatever he wants to sway voters and then release whatever he wants after a record turnout for advanced voting ends.

This feels like the most important election of my lifetime (thus far). If Pollievre becomes our next prime minister, I genuinely believe Canada will decline, and life here will become entirely unsustainable. Many more people will suffer, and those that already are will only suffer more.

After all, the Easter Bunny might not be real, but threats to our democracy are! (I asked Carney to make this his slogan and he refused for some reason) 🐣🍁

A few things I took away from the @liberalca.bsky.social leadership debate tonight:
1. Frank Baylis is the last candidate I want running our country.
2. I forgot that a large portion of Canada is serious about political bilingualism.
3. I like Gould more than I thought I would.

You know how in Wristcutters: A Love Story, purgatory is pretty much just like the real world, but shittier in every way?
Anyway, so about the last 9 years...
